Locke Reynolds Partners Named A Distinguished Fellow of the Indianapolis Bar Foundation
INDIANAPOLIS, November 2006 – Michael A. Bergin and Kevin Charles Murray have been named a Distinguished Fellow of the Indianapolis Bar Foundation (IBF) for 2006.
Each year, the IBF nominates members of the legal community who have contributed consistently to the profession and the community to be designated a Distinguished Fellow. Candidates to become an IBF Fellow must have a long record of service, an exemplary standing, and made exceptional contributions to the Indianapolis legal community.
Mr. Bergin concentrates his practice in multi-party and complex litigation, including: industry-wide litigation involving asbestos and other chemical exposures brought as occupational disease or toxic tort claims; employment discrimination; reduction-in-force class actions; commercial; worker's compensation; professional liability; and products liability litigation. He chairs the firm’s Environmental & Toxic Exposure Group.
Mr. Murray concentrates his practice in governmental services and serves as General Counsel to Sheriff Frank J. Anderson. He formerly served as Special Counsel to Governor Joseph E. Kernan and Senate Parliamentarian to Lt. Governor Katherine L. Davis. For over 30 years, Mr. Murray has been involved in Indiana politics and has extensive experience with the Indiana General Assembly.
