Locke Reynolds Partner Presents at Products Liability Seminar in China
INDIANAPOLIS, September 2006 – Kevin C. Schiferl recently served as Locke Reynolds' ambassador for the Harmonie Group's China Products Liability initiative in Dongguan, China. Mr. Schiferl participated in a week-long, translated legal seminar on United States Products Liability Law, attended by approximately 100 representatives of the growing Chinese manufacturing insurance industry.
At the conclusion of the meeting, a contract was signed for an exclusive arrangement between Harmonie's member firms, including Locke Reynolds LLP, and People's Insurance Company of China, the largest products liability insurer with 58% of the China market, for future litigation defense work in the United States.
