Locke Reynolds Partner Elected to the Board of Governors of the 7th Circuit Bar Association

INDIANAPOLIS, May 2006 – Thomas E. Wheeler, II was recently elected to the Board of Governors of the 7th Circuit Bar Association for the 2006/2007 term.

The primary goal of the 7th Circuit Bar Association is to work together – as lawyers and judges – to understand and address issues relating to the administration of justice within the Circuit. Membership in the Seventh Circuit Bar Association is open to any lawyer who practices in the federal courts of the 7th Circuit.

Mr. Wheeler has extensive experience in representing schools and other municipal entities throughout the United States in administrative, trial and appellate matters. In addition to representing municipalities, he is very active politically, providing legal advice on campaign, finance, and election issues to political parties and candidates. Mr. Wheeler has published and spoken extensively on civil rights issues for national organizations as diverse as the National School Boards Association and the American Civil Liberties Union, as well as appearing on National Public Radio.
