Locke Reynolds Attorneys Listed in Who's Who in Black Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS, April 2005 – Gregory G. Taylor and John M.T. Chavis, II were both recently named in the 2005-2006 edition of Who's Who in Black Indianapolis. Mr. Taylor was named one of Indianapolis' Most Influential and Mr. Chavis was listed in the Counselors at Law section.

The directory features a compilation of Indianapolis area African Americans who have made contributions to their communities or in their jobs.

Mr. Taylor serves as senior counsel to Locke Reynolds, practicing in the Firm's Government & Regulatory Services and Business Services Groups. He has served as bond counsel, underwriter's counsel, bank counsel and borrower's counsel in various tax-exempt and taxable financings. Mr. Taylor also assists minority and women owned business enterprises in obtaining local and state certification. He has provided legal advice to corporations and small businesses regarding local and state tax incentives for economic development projects.

Mr. Chavis concentrates his practice in the Firm's Products Liability, Governmental Services and Labor & Employment Groups. He is a frequent national lecturer on Constitutional Law issues surrounding School Districts, Housing Authorities and other governmental entities and/or political subdivisions.
