2008 News Releases Bernice Corley Appointed Counsel for the Indiana Senate Democrats INDIANAPOLIS, March 2008 – The firm would like to congratulate Bernice Corley on her recent appointment as counsel for the Indiana Senate Democrats.Ms. Corley will serve as General Counsel to the Senate Democrats. She will oversee the Democratic Attorneys Office during the Indiana General Assembly and be responsible for the drafting of Resolutions, Second Reading Motions to Amend, and other procedural activities. During the interim, she will serve as counsel to the Senate Democrats as they address issues in Interim Study Committees. Lastly, Ms. Corley will help advise and guide the non-legal Senate staff as they assist constituents with issues arising in state government.
