Locke Reynolds Partner Recognized by the Indiana Senate
INDIANAPOLIS, January 7 – Governor Joseph E. Kernan, Lieutenant Governor Katherine L. Davis and Kevin Charles Murray were each honored by Resolution of the Indiana Senate on January 6, 2005. Mr. Murray was recognized for his service to the Indiana General Assembly over the last 30 years.
Mr. Murray, a partner at Locke Reynolds, has extensive experience with the Indiana General Assembly. He served as Senate Democratic Caucus Assistant (1975-76), Senate Democratic Attorney Assistant (1975-79), Senate Democratic Attorney (1979-1980), House Democratic Attorney (1980-86), Senate Democratic Attorney (1997-99), and Senate Parliamentarian (1999-2004.)
Mr. Murray concentrates his practice at Locke Reynolds in governmental services, and serves as counsel to Marion County Sheriff Frank J. Anderson. He also served as counsel to Governor Joseph E. Kernan and Lt. Governor Katherine L. Davis. In 1999, Mr. Murray received the distinguished Lawyer of the Year Award from DTCI.
He is a member of the Indianapolis and Indiana State Bar Associations. Mr. Murray is also a member of the Indiana State Historical Society, the Indiana State Museum Society, the Indiana State University Alumni Association, the Indiana University Alumni Association, the Indiana Democratic Lawyers Caucus and the Marion County Democratic Chairman's Club.
