Melanie Margolin is a partner of Locke Reynolds, concentrating her practice in
business litigation, general business counseling and product liability, with a new
focus on life sciences issues. Melanie also has a strong background in tort litigation,
bankruptcy litigation, and appellate practice.
Melanie defends clients in both jury and bench trials in state courts, federal district
courts, and United States Bankruptcy Court. Melanie handles appellate matters
in Indiana, the United States District Court and the Seventh Circuit United
States Court of Appeals. Not only is Melanie successfully engaged in the courtroom,
she also represents clients in matters resolved through alternative dispute
resolution such as mediations, arbitrations or private settlement negotiations.
Melanie is the Hiring Partner of the Firm and is the Chair of the Firms Diversity
Committee.
