Kevin Murray concentrates his practice in governmental services and serves as
General Counsel to Marion County Sheriff Frank J. Anderson. For over 30 years,
he has been involved in Indiana politics and has extensive experience with the
Indiana General Assembly. Recent highlights include current service as the
Indiana Democratic Party Parliamentarian and a member of Indianapolis Fire
Merit Board. As an appointed member of the Metropolitan Law Enforcement
Consolidation Advisory Committee, he helped create a new police agency for
metropolitan Indianapolis.
In 2005, the Indiana Senate honored Kevin for his 30 years of public service
which included serving as Special Counsel to Governor Joseph Kernan and
Senate Parliamentarian to Lt. Governor Katherine L. Davis from 2003 to 2005.
During that time, he also served as the Governor's Policy Director for Indiana's
Gaming Agencies - The Hoosier Lottery, the Indiana Gaming Commission and the
Indiana Horseracing Commission. In 2002, Kevin managed the successful election
campaign of U.S. Marshal (Ret.) Frank J. Anderson as Marion County
Sheriff.
