Jim Matthews practices in the areas of commercial litigation, creditors' rights,
and bankruptcy. Representing creditors, debtors and committees, Jim has handled
complex Chapter 7, 11 and 13 bankruptcy cases. He has substantial experience
with relief from stay matters, use of cash collateral and adequate protection
issues, claims analysis and litigation, preferential and fraudulent transfer
claims, and plan confirmation issues. Jim's creditors' rights and commercial litigation
practice encompasses mortgage foreclosure actions, repossession and
replevin cases, UCC disputes, and general contracts and debt collection litigation.
