James Dimos is a partner of Locke Reynolds and chair of the Firm's Intellectual
Property Group. His practice focus is the litigation needs of the business community
in the areas of intellectual property, antitrust, contract, copyright, employment
agreement, licensing, non-compete, patent, product disparagement, trademark,
trade secret, government procurement, unfair competition and vendor disputes.
He also serves as a member of the Firm's Management Committee. Jim is
admitted to the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, Seventh
Circuit and Federal Circuit, as well as the U.S. Claims Court.

- Served as part of a national team of lawyers retained by a Fortune 500 client
to combat the illegal piracy of its software
- Served as part of a national team of lawyers retained by a trade association

- Represent an independent system operator in a lawsuit seeking damages
allegedly stemming from the August, 2003 electrical power outage that
affected service in several states
- Represent internet retailers in patent infringement suits over technology
used to process sales transactions
