Senior Counsel Tony Overholt has extensive experience in representing schools
and other municipal entities. He is an experienced litigation attorney with numerous
jury and bench trials in federal and state court with substantive concentration
in labor, employment discrimination, general litigation and constitutional
law. He also has significant appellate experience.
As part of his representation of local governments, he assists with negotiating
collective bargaining agreements with public sector unions and has assisted in
managing public relations strategies relating to those negotiations.

- Bridenbaugh v. OBannon, 185 F.3d 796 (7th Cir. 1999). Successfully defended the constitutionality of Indianas statute permitting Good Friday holiday for state employees.
- Martin v. Carraway, 712 N.E.2d 1055 (Ind. Ct. App. 1999). Established favorable precedent for ability of State Police to demote high-ranking officials without cause in political patronage claim.
